In third year Textiles, we were asked to create a range of rugs that explored a specific cause we were passionate about. I decided to look at Vision Australia, a not-for-profit organisation and Australia's largest provider of services for people with blindness and low vision. The rugs were to be placed in the waiting rooms to help lighten the mood and act as a positive reinforcer for those waiting for appointments.
